My name is Yulia, I'm Orthodox Christian Iconographer and living in Toronto, Canada.
Since childhood I've been interested in art and photography. I really enjoyed taking portraits of people. I have always felt that there is much more to life. God has answered my prayers of wishing to serve Him and the Church. So, I decided to use the artistic talents He gave me to preach the Gospel through art by creating the Icons.
I'm creating beautiful icons in Byzantine system using traditional high-quality materials. All icons are panted on gessoed wood panel with the authentic egg tempera technique.
